Questions

What CSR teams ask us

Who receives the funds?

Hare Krishna Movement Jaipur, a registered charitable trust holding CSR-1 CSR00002414. Funds go to a dedicated CSR account.

Who owns assets built with CSR funds?

Hare Krishna Movement Jaipur (HKMJ) holds them under its CSR registration, as Rule 7(4) allows. Your agreement includes a utilisation covenant, cost and booking records, and access for your assessors.

Why is GST included in the amounts?

Input tax credit on CSR spending is blocked under Section 17(5) of the CGST Act, so GST is a real project cost. Your finance team should confirm the final treatment.

Can we fund part of a project?

Yes. Most programmes can be funded project by project, and one space or one sponsored place can be funded on its own.

How are projects reviewed for eligibility?

Ernst & Young reviewed CSR eligibility under Schedule VII for the space ask, and its extension to the other systems is separate. Each item still needs your own review.

Can our employees take part?

Yes. Employee volunteering days can be arranged, such as helping to prepare and serve meals on site.
